Build growth systems, not slide decks

NVOstudio is an in-house growth and creative unit. We hire makers who ship. SEO, content, brand, design and conversion sit in one team, on one plan.

This page is the whole hiring story. What we hire for. How the process runs. What we look for, and what we do not. Read it, then send one honest email.

  • Four steps, then an answer

All four are listed below. Nothing extra gets added later.

  • Six crafts

Each one has its own page on this site.

  • Paid samples

Real task. Real fee. No free pitching.

  • Remote, many markets

We plan for a second language before it is needed.

How this studio treats its team

Three rules shape the day here. They are the same three we promise clients. If we broke them internally, the promise would be theatre.

  • You own the work end to end

There is no account layer to hide behind. You brief, you build, you ship. You also answer for it in the client thread.

  • Systems beat heroics

A one-off win is nice. A repeatable method is better. We write down what worked so the next person starts ahead.

  • Say it early, say it plain

Late news is the only bad news here. Flag the slip on Tuesday, not in the Friday note. Nobody is punished for that.

The crafts we hire for

Six tracks run under one plan. Pick the one that fits you best. Each has its own page, so you can read the method before you apply. Cross-track people are welcome too.

  1. SEO

Crawl, rank the fixes, ship them. You need to enjoy the audit and the pull request.

  2. Content marketing

Briefs, drafts and edits that earn a click. Research first, adjectives last.

    See how we run content
  3. Brand strategy and identity

Naming, voice and the rules that keep them steady across every market.

    Read the brand track
  4. Creative and design direction

Art direction with a deadline. Taste matters. So does handing off clean files.

    Look at the design track
  5. Web and conversion

Landing pages, tests and fixes. You care why a page loses the visitor.

  6. Social media marketing

Channel plans and posts tied to the same story as the site. Not a separate world.

How hiring runs

The process is short on purpose. You should know the whole shape before you spend an evening on it. Nothing here is a surprise round.

  1. Send a short note

One email. Tell us the craft, link two pieces of work, say what you did on each.

  2. A call with a lead

Thirty minutes with the person who runs that track. No panel. No riddles.

  3. A paid work sample

A small, real task in your craft. We pay for it. You keep the rights either way.

  4. Decision and start

You get a yes or a no, with reasons. Silence is not an answer we use.

Fit, both ways

What we look for

  • You show your working, not just the polished final frame.
  • You write clearly. Most of this job is writing.
  • You can hold a plan and still change it when the data says so.
  • You are kind to the person who has to pick the file up next.

Where we are the wrong studio

  • You want a title with nobody under it and nothing to ship.
  • You need three approval rounds before you write a line.
  • You measure a month by impressions and call that growth.
  • You go quiet when a project slips.

Asked by applicants

Four questions come up in nearly every first note. Short answers below.

Still unsure? Read more about the studio.

  • Do you hire remotely?

Yes. We work across markets and languages, so the team is spread out. We do ask for four hours of overlap with the client's day.

  • Do you take juniors?

Yes, in every craft. You will be paired with a lead for your first projects. We would rather teach method than fix habits.

  • What if my craft is not listed?

Write anyway. Six tracks are named above. If your work sits between two of them, say which two and show us the overlap.

  • Do you use freelancers?

Sometimes, for a fixed scope. The core work stays in-house. That is the whole point of the model.

Send one honest email

Name the craft. Link two pieces of work. Say what you did on each, and what you would redo. A lead reads it and replies with a clear next step.
